Our client is a global leader within the manufacturing industry for construction based chemicals. With a spread of operations over 90 countries they value their employees and hold strong values which is filtered down throughout the company.  We are currently looking for 2 Customer Service Officers for permanent roles to join their friendly, hard working and close knit team based around Marsden, QLD. 

Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, key responsibilities of the role will be:

  • Answering and directing incoming phone calls
  • Data entry - entering phone, fax or email orders into the system, mail (opening and delivery)
  • Assisting customers with general enquiries, forecasting, forward orders and stock availability
  • Communicate and liaise with freight providers for delivery status, Branch Logistics for stock replenishment and manufacturing and colour tinting and pigments 
  • Provide basic level of technical assistance to customers 
  • Process invoices and credits as well as all orders prior to cut off time
  • Provide a high level of customer service both face to face and over the phone
  • General administration tasks

We are looking for people with the following skills ad attributes:

  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise and multitask
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work in a team environment
  • A minimum of 1 years experience in a high-level Customer Service environment is essential 
  • Advanced computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, Lotus Notes experience an advantage
