Our client is a well-known manufacture of quality Aluminium products such as Ladders, utility trays and builder's hardware which stand as the benchmark for industries within Australia and New Zealand.
A temp to perm opportunity has become available at our Springvale branch for a self-motivated and talented Internal Sales Officer to join this dynamic and successful team.
Core functions are to promote/sell/secure orders from walk-in customers through a friendly, helpful approach. Demonstrate products and services to customers and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs all while maintaining a high-level of all Ullrich Aluminium products in order to assist customers
Day to day duties will include but are not limited to:
- Answering incoming calls
- Telephone sale and quotations
- Prepare and follow up on Quotations
- Maintain contract pricing for customers
- Support external sales representatives
- Daily invoicing and cash handling
- Resolve customer problems and complaints in a fair, professional and efficient manner.
- Identify advantages and compare organisation's products/services
- Ad-hoc duties as required by the branch manager, CEO or their delegates
Qualifications/skills
- Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers
- Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team
- Must possess good verbal and written communications skills
- Proficient in the use of MS office suite applications
