Our client based in Moorebank is currently seeking a reliable, switched on Shipping Coordinator to join their close knit team immediately.
As a leading supplier and manufacturer of quality ingredients the Shipping Coordinator will be responsible for the following;
- Liaising with local freight forwarders to coordinate shipments
- Manage the shipments from suppliers, port to warehouse of our products
- Preparation and data input of shipment documents into our system
- Coordinate the checking of documents and payment of overseas supplier invoices
- Ensure correct and complete documents are received from suppliers
- Data entry and costing of shipments
- Liaise with our Warehouse Goods Inwards team on shipment receipt
- Follow up with Buyers on order production progress and input ETD/ETAs to system
- Ensure timely delivery of purchase orders according to delivery schedules
- Escalate and resolve any shipment delays
- Maintain accurate shipping records
- Perform general duties as required
The following skills and attributes will be the key to your success;
- Excellent attention to detail
- Minimum 4 years experience in a import/logistics role
- Proficient MS Office (Word & Outlook)
- Excellent Excel skills / SAGE X3 would be an advantage.
- Sound knowledge of the INCOTERMS & International Payment Terms
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent time management skills
