Job Description

Our client is a recognised market leader in Business Mailing and Document Finishing Solutions. They provide equipment, supplies, service and in-house finance within the Australian market.

They are currently looking for a warehouse supervisor to join their team based in Port Melbourne.   

Key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Pick goods from picking slip and place on trolleys in despatch area
  • Check goods against picking slip and pack appropriately for despatch
  • Enter connotes into IFS and attach to goods for despatch
  • Unloading trucks and containers
  • Printing purchase orders for receiving
  • Checking goods in against purchase order and putting goods away in location
  • Sweeping and tiding despatch area at the end of each day
  • Operating forklifts
  • Managing returned goods and generating computer reports as needed
  • Liase with local and interstate couriers, book transport as required
  • Liase with consumables sales reps for urgent despatch of goods to clients
  • Managing equipment book outs to ensure inventory is correctly located
  • Other warehouse duties as require

We are looking for people with the following skills ad attributes:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Current LF forklift licence and proven experience
  • Computer skills in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Positive attitude and ability to work in a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Available to start immediately
