We are looking for a Line Setter to join their PM team!

Your duties will include but are not limited to:
* Operate a range of automated packaging machines with precision care
* Load printed can plates into machines to be bent into various sizes of paint and oil cans.
* Perform quality control checks to ensure cans meet the correct specifications.
* Safely and efficiently running the production line/finishing area, meeting quality specifications
* Maintain a high level of safety awareness in all tasks.
* Handle tinplate and stillage boards manually.
* Assist with machine operations in a fast-paced environment.
* Participate in quick changeovers and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensuring the line operates accurately and efficiently, minimising downtime
* Learn how to carry out TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and recording all necessary data accurately
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols
* Maintain good housekeeping practices in the work area.
* Communicate effectively with team members. Job Specific Requirements:

* Enthusiastic, with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
* Ability to work effectively within a medium sized friendly team.
Skill set:
- Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar manufacturing role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one
