Sexual Harassment and Bullying in the Workplace

We don't just recruit great staff. We provide human resource solutions.

Sexual Harassment

Sexual harassment is any unwanted or uninvited sexual behaviour, which is offensive, embarrassing, intimidating or humiliating. It has nothing to do with mutual attraction or friendship. Some examples of sexual harassment are, sexual or suggestive remarks, sexual propositions or repeated requests for dates, repeated questions about personal life or sexual jokes.

Sexual harassment is a very serious issue. It can cause harm and distress and can influence an individual’s work performance.

At Strategy One we take sexual harassment very seriously. Under the Sex Discrimination Act it is illegal to sexually harass a person in employment. If you become a victim of sexual harassment in the workplace please contact Strategy One immediately 24hrs on 8791 1500

Workplace Bullying

Workplace bullying is an important safety and health issue for all workplaces. Workplace bullying can be repeated, unreasonable inappropriate behaviour directed at an employee or group of employees. Bullying can occur directly or indirectly whether verbal, physical or otherwise, by one or more persons against another person or persons. Bullying can create a risk to health and safety, including the safety of other workers.

If you feel you are being continually bullied in your place of employment then you need to do something about it immediately before things get out of hand.  Please contact a Strategy One consultant 24hrs on 8791 1500 to discuss your concerns.
